My name is Jaida, I'm a 30-something business professional living in Austin, Texas. I have an adorable Yorkie, Zoey, and rambunctious kitten, Skeeter, and an amazing boyfriend, J, that gets to be my taste-tester.
I love food. All kinds of food. I love to cook it, eat it, read about it, talk about it...I just love food. I enjoy trying new types of food, though I am a little leery if it looks or sounds too odd. I am learning to expand my horizons, however, and try new things even if I'm not sure I'll like them.
I love to be in the kitchen. I love to fix delicious meals and to bake adorable treats to share with my friends, co-workers and loved ones. It makes me truly happy. I’ve enjoyed cooking for many years, and recently my passion for baking has soared and I wanted to combine my love for being in the kitchen (baking and cooking), writing and photography (working on improving every day!) into a site that others can enjoy as well. I gained inspiration from the blogs I follow, and I follow the ones that I do because I feel that they have similarities to the way I cook/bake - or at least that I aspire to!
